In this teaser we provide a quick overview for the use case, "Healthcare Waste Management​​, powered by SAP Business Technology Platform".

In this use case scenario, we will dive into the sustainability challenges of the healthcare waste management industry, and address its main pain points that impact the healthcare industry as well the public health. Thus we will show how the medical organizations can work altogether to improve healthcare waste management related processes and how to control the relevant costs efficiently.

In this context, we will explore a practical solution to address some of these challenges with the help of SAP BTP which empowers the cooperation between the multiple business partners involved in the process, orchestrating communication between different data systems, by leveraging SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud and FedML in order to achieve unprecedented and intelligent monitoring of healthcare waste related measures such as the greenhouse gas emissions etc., which can provide better measures and practices to ensure safe and environmentally sound management of medical wastes. This solution is based on SAP Business Technology Platform and the SAP S/4HANA Cloud, where we will see an example of how SAP partners can build and enable sustainable solutions.
